We are pleased to welcome back\u00a0Yuchen Dai, he will entertain us with the best violin music ever!<\/p>

Yuchen Dai<\/strong> received his Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Wilfrid Laurier University studying under Jerzy Kap\u0142anek and the Penderecki String Quartet. He also holds an ARCT Diploma in Violin Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music.<\/p>

He has performed with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, and is currently a member of the World Doctors Orchestra. Yuchen enjoys playing chamber music with friends and was recently invited to perform at the Oberstdorfer Musiksommer Festival in Germany with his string quartet.<\/p>

He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>

We are glad to welcome again Naomi Wong, she will entertain us with the Chopin and Classical pieces.<\/p>

Naomi Wong<\/strong> is Born in Toronto, twenty-year-old pianist she is currently a performance student at the University of Toronto studying with Dr. Enrico Elisi. Naomi began performing in local music festivals at a young age, and over the years, has received many awards in concerto and solo competitions, at the local, provincial, and national level. As the Grand Prize winner of the International Music Festival and Competition, Naomi looks forward to performing Chopin\u2019s Second Concerto with the Kindred Spirits Orchestra this season. Naomi is also an active community member, performing extensively at retirement homes, hospitals, and fundraising events. She works regularly with younger students as a private piano teacher and a collaborative pianist. Naomi is extremely grateful to her current and past teachers for guiding and inspiring her: Dr. Enrico Elisi, Ken Marple at the University Settlement Music & Arts School, and Rachel Yu.<\/p>

She graduated from medical school this year and is currently in her first year of Dermatology Residency. In her spare time, she is also a professional pianist and a piano teacher. She started her journey in piano aged 5, studying in the Royal Conservatory of Music and achieving her Associate Diploma in Piano Performance at the age of 16. Since then she has played as a volunteer in various hospitals in Ottawa, performed for over 20+ retirement homes across Ottawa, and worked as a freelance pianist for weddings and events.<\/p>

Purpose<\/strong>: Our concerts have proven to be so popular that we have organized another one! This time with Nicole Li, a violinist who will entertain us all with her exquisite violin playing.<\/span><\/p>

Canadian violinist Nicole Li began her pursuit of violin at the age of three. A two-time winner of the Grand Prize at the Canadian Music Competition national finals, she won first place in her age category seven times. Nicole is a two-time silver medalist of the RCM and received First Class Honours with Distinction in her graduating year as Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto (ARCT).<\/p>

Nicole is an alumna of the University of Toronto Schools and the University of Western Ontario, and received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine in 2019. Throughout medical school, Nicole was a first violinist in the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra. She is currently the Junior Chief Resident and a third year resident of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at McMaster University. She has special interests in women\u2019s imaging and neuroradiology.<\/p>

We were delighted to welcome back Yuchen Dai for another <\/span>classical music concert.<\/span><\/p>

Yuchen received his Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Wilfrid Laurier University studying under Jerzy Kap\u0142anek and the Penderecki String Quartet. He also holds an ARCT Diploma in Violin Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. <\/span><\/p>

He has performed with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, and is currently a member of the World Doctors Orchestra. Yuchen enjoys playing chamber music with friends and was recently invited to perform at the Oberstdorfer Musiksommer Festival in Germany with his string quartet.<\/p>
